PORTRAIT SESSIONS and TRAVEL FEES Studio and On Location sessions are available. Studio Sessions begin at $35 (see Fee Schedule at left) and On Location sessions require additional fees depending on location, distance traveled and length of session. A $20 location fee is charged for locations within a 10 mile radius of the city of South Boston, VA. Over 10 miles requires a $35 minimum includes up to 30 minutes driving time. Over 30 minutes requires an additional $40 per hour travel fee plus hotel accommodations when applicable. CLOTHING Simplify and unify when it comes to clothing. Solids work best because it helps you be the focus of the portrait rather than what you are wearing. Couples or groups should wear matching or complimentary colors. Ladies should remember to bring their cosmetics in case a touch-up is needed. A haircut 7—10 days before the portrait renders the most pleasing results for males. Bring a prop to be photographed with you if you like. Anything that helps tell your story— sports equipment, musical instruments, favorite toys, or a pet (please check with the photographer before bringing pets). VIEWING SESSION We prefer for you to view the images after we have had an opportunity to sort, rotate, and crop them. Approximately one week after your portrait session you may return (on appointment basis) to view your images. You will be viewing them in a comfortable setting in our viewing room on a 37" high definition plasma viewing screen, sometimes complete with background music. You may bring a friend or family member along if you like. This is an important time for you to make decisions regarding your selections. If you would like you also may view your pictures in the studio following your session . Just remember you get to see the good, the bad, and the ugly then because the photographer has not had a chance to sort them. PROOFS (If you just can't decide and want more time…) With the increasing technology available to consumers for photo reproduction, the photography industry is moving away from providing the traditional proof packages of the past. Instead of receiving a stack of 4 x 5 proofs, your images can be placed online for you and your loved ones to view. All sessions placed online will be password protected unless you instruct us otherwise. If you absolutely need images printed out we will provide you with a contact sheet which only includes small wallet size images. FINISHED PORTRAITS Once your selection is made, finished portraits may be pick-up in 1—3 weeks. We review each photo you select and digitally retouch to correct color, lighting, and the overall quality of the image. Light blemishes, moles, and wrinkles can be removed for no additional cost...but only with your permission. All portraits are professionally printed to produce high quality archival prints. Special attention is paid to color quality and image clarity. MATTING & FRAMING We have a wide selection of framing options for you to choose from. Our goal is to help you select a frame that enhances your finished portrait and compliments your personal decorating style.

Wide format prints are professionally mounted on the appropriate weight/type mountboard. You may choose the type of mounting and print finish you prefer. Prices vary based on technique selected. |

Multiple Image Collage/Composite Creations require hours and hours of work to create and perfect them. For this reason, they are not sold in sizes smaller than 16 x 20 and a $30 creation fee is applied. Printing them with special metallic inks is available for an additional $30 per print.
